Sacred Song & Sound Healing Training

Sacred sound is an ancient science that is based on vibration, frequency, intention and consciousness. In this workshop series we will focus on learning sound healing techniques, awakening to the inner voice and intuitive energies, and opening the pathways to working with sacred sound. We will focus on opening the voice through vocal exercises, sacred mantras, indigenous songs and chants. We will explore sound healing through giving and receiving sound baths and we will be working with quartz crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, flutes, bells, drums, rattles, harmonium and other sound healing instruments to explore and learn how to create healing spaces with sound.

Sweat Lodge

Many people native to the Americas call the sweat lodge the womb of our Mother Earth. In this sacred ceremony we will have the opportunity to purify ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. With our intentions and prayers we will move beyond ourselves and merge with the elemental & cosmic forces. A sweat lodge is a ceremony where participants enter into a small, insulated hut that is then heated with hot stones brought from a sacred fire. Together, the group moves through 4 rounds of prayer, songs, and teachings, utilizing the four elements as a means to purify and focus our prayers.

Sacred Meditations

We will have two sacred meditations. We will come together in sacred circle for healing, clearing, activation & transformation. these meditations are a direct route to personal evolution and include teachings, incantations, chants, songs, meditation and prayer. This will be a very special container, as the group will be consistent throughout the retreat. You will have the opportunity to receive more personal, one on one work with the facilitators, as well as cultivate your own healing gifts of service. We will work more intimately with the sacred herbs & the 4 elements to gain a deeper understanding of the harmonization of these allies. We will explore the techniques of sound healing to more easily access and shift belief systems, blockages and integrate our power and soul gifts.

DREAM SEED: Shamanic Sound Journeying

In Dream Seed, Shamanic chanting, mantras, overtone singing, Native American songs, indigenous music, didgeridoos, crystal singing bowls, bells, gongs, harmoniums, tuning forks, and other overtone-emitting instruments are used to create an environment conducive to deep relaxation and inward investigation. Participants are led through guided meditations and sound-healing practices designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. You will have an opportunity to set a clear intention, recharge your energy, and explore the realm beyond the physical.

Flower Ceremony

Flower baths, called “Flordecimentos” in the tradition of the South, are a powerful way to cleanse one’s aura and crystalize the profound transformation that happens when engaging in deep healing work. Participants will have the opportunity to make their flower baths and infuse them with their personal prayers, songs, and intentions.

Morning movement & meditation Practices

Every morning we will gather to develop our morning practice.  When we are centered and in balance, we are able to face anything, whether it is external or internal.  We will connect with the forces of the 4 directions and the 3 hearts through yogic practices and meditation.  These physical and mental practices are a practical and effective way to focus our energy and intention to generate equanimity, harmony and peace within our selves. Through this we are able to give our days an orientation, direction, and help to raise and maintain our vibration.

Nourishing Vegetarian cuisine

Our retreat will provide delicious vegetarian meals using organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables. It is our intention to ensure that whatever you eat is supporting and empowering your process of transformation. Please let us know if you have any specific allergies or dietary restrictions, we will do our very best to nourish and nurture your body, mind and spirit.
